We want to highlight one of the best decks we constructed in 2023 for a customer in Sutton, MA. We'll go over the entire project, from the first consultation and design to management and construction.
First Consultation & Showroom Visit
This homeowner was tired of maintaining their pool deck and Juliet balcony and called us for help. Matt from Field Sales visited their home and quickly realized that the deck would need to be fully replaced using composite decking materials. After the on-site visit, the next step was to schedule a time in the showroom to choose colors, railings, and lighting options. They decided to go with Trex Naturals for the decking, Trex Transcend for the rails, post cap lights, and riser lights.
Design & Permitting
After the sales team finalized the deal, the project was handed over to the design team. During this phase, the design team worked closely with the customer and the town building department to ensure the deck matched the customer's vision while complying with building codes. Once everything was sorted out and the customer approved the design plans, the project was assigned to a project manager, and construction began shortly thereafter.
Management & Construction
Once the design plan and permit were approved, the project was handed over to a project manager. For this job, one of our project managers, Brandon, took charge. Brandon facilitated communication between the homeowner and the construction team to ensure the project progressed smoothly and according to plan. The deck turned out exactly as the customer envisioned!
Notable features of the deck include Trex Naturals deck boards in color Toasted Sand, Trex Transcend Rope Swing composite rails with black aluminum balusters, and color-matched fascia and kickboards. The Rope Swing color rails, along with the color-matched fascia boards, perfectly complement the overall aesthetics of the deck.
